Knowledgeable Butchers - An Old Fashioned Meat Department


Our Meat Department at Ben Lomond is full service, the old fashioned way so our customers can select the custom cuts that they want with high quality products at great prices.

Quality Meat

We carry only USDA Choice Certified Beef that has superior marbling, flavor and consistency over what is offered at chain stores. Our fresh Midwestern Pork is tender, lean and flavorful. We also have California Superior Lamb. Our Veal is lean, grass-fed, not formula-fed as well as USDA Choice Certified Angus All-Natural Beef that is grass-fed and contains no hormones, antibiotics or additives.

We carry fine, premium smoked bacon, ham slices, as well as full smoked hams from Boars Head.

We grind all our own meats in our departments, and never purchase anything that has been pre-ground. This is important to ensure that our customers are getting 100-percent pure ground beef, and nothing that's not up to our standards.

We have prepared entrees such as stuffed chicken breasts, stuffed pork chops, beef and chicken skewers, plus a great selection of freshly made and smoked sausages that are a great accompaniment to any home meal or barbecue.

Free Range Chicken

We carry Mary's Free Range Air Chilled Chicken from Fresno, California, and Foster Farms Organic Chicken.

Marinade Program

We are proud to present our in-house marinade program. We use USDA-Choice, Black Angus meat and carry a variety of various flavors and marinades for you to choose from:

Beef Tri-Tips: Santa Maria Style, Teriyaki, Chili Lime, Bloody Mary, Hawaiian Spice, Blackened Style, Fire Roasted Garlic

Skirt Steaks: Chili Lime, Teriyaki, Bloody Mary, Hawaiian spice, Fire-Roasted Garlic, Blackend Style, Santa Maria

Chicken Breasts: Santa Maria Style, Teriyaki, Pesto, Sun Dried Tomato, Lemon Pepper Chicken, Hawaiian Style, Butter Garlic, Chili Lime
